Reading Applications-Syllabus                                                                                                                                                                     We will regularly prepare for standardized tests in the following formulas: SAT Vocabulary Unit Quizzes will be given every Friday. SAT Critical Reading Practice tests TAKS Critical Reading Vocabulary Preparation Reading Logs Students will have time to read in class when they complete other assignments, so they need to have a novel of choice with them in class every day. Students will write a college application essay. Grading policies: The class is on an 80% daily grade and 20% quiz grade system.
