She is a veteran teacher at The Woodlands High School and serves as the Career and Technical Education Department Chair.  Mrs. Gutknecht's teaching experience also includes The American School in London (England), Lone Star College (Texas), Westmoreland and Allegheny Colleges (Pennsylvania).
