Go the the ballroom on the third level. There are three proms at the hotel on our night and the Ironman competition is headquartered there.   Traffic will be heavy.  Allow extra time. Student Awards Night is May 22 at 7 p.m. This ceremony has a new format and is expected to last 45 minutes. May 14-18- the eighth week of the last nine weeks Students will complete the study of poetry ending with Victorian poets Elizabeth B. Browning, Robert Browning, and Alfred, Lord Tennyson. A famous lines quiz will be given Tuesday, May 15.  A major test on poetry will be given Wednesday, May 16 in all classes. For students missing class to take AP exams: Monday:  Read all Keats and Byron poems and fill in your charts. Tuesday- Friday:  Read all poetry by Tennyson and the Brownings. Discussion of Jane Eyre begins Thursday, May 17. The test will be given Wednesday, May 23.
