Having taught English in Clark County School District in Las Vegas, Nevada as well as Spring Branch ISD in Houston, Mrs. Cipolla began counseling in the Southlake Carroll School District in the Ft. Worth/ Dallas area.  At TWHS, she is lead counselor and has also been the Registrar as well as a Grade Level Counselor graduating three classes of seniors.

Sheredian Vickers began her career in education as an English teacher at McCullough and then taught English at Knox Jr. High School.   She was a counselor at Huntsville High School for two years before returning to Conroe ISD as a counselor at McCullough High School.  Vickers brings many years of experience to her role as College Counselor at TWHS.

A native Californian, I began college there, then moved to West Texas where I graduated with a BA in Literature from the University of Texas, Permian Basin.  I taught in Odessa, then moved to Stephenville where I taught 10th and 11th grade English.  I completed my Masters of Ed. in Counseling at Tarleton State University, and was a counselor at Willis High School before coming to TWHS-9th grade campus.  I enjoy working with 9th grade students to help them identify their goals to pursue their dreams.

My 33 years in education include teaching social studies and coaching in Waco ISD and Grand Prairie ISD.  After 14 years in the classroom I switched to counseling in 1989.  After a move to The Woodlands in 1996, I began working at the FIRST McCullough Junior High as a counselor and followed McCullough through its many transitions.  This is my fourth year at TWHS-Ninth Grade Campus and I am having a great time working with my ninth grade students.

Mr. Crowe has spent the last ten years in Ohio working in the field of social work and education.  A graduate from John Carroll University (Cleveland, Ohio) in 1998, he spent six years working for Child Protective Services in the city of Cleveland.  Mr. Crowe completed his Masters in Education and Counseling from Cleveland State University in 2005 and worked as a high school counselor for the past four years.  Mr. Crowe also holds a Professional Counselor license and has worked part time in this area as well.

Ms. Breidenthal taught history in Ohio and Louisiana. She was an elementary school counselor in Katy ISD, Ft. Worth ISD and Magnolia ISD. She was also a high school counselor in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Suzanne Smith moved to the Woodlands a year ago and most recently worked as a high school counselor at Kingwood High School. Previously she was a high school counselor in Upstate New York for 9 years and in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania for 6 years. Ms. Smith attended the State University of New York and Cornell University and has a BS in Business Administration.

Laura Willard

Laura Willard has joined the Counseling Department after serving as Lead Counselor in Faifax, Virginia. She has also been a counselor in Orlando, Florida; Atlanta, Georgia, and Louisville, Kentucky. She has a BA in English Education and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Kentucky. She has a MA in Guidance Counseling from the University of Louisville.

Mrs. Iribarren taught P.E. and science at the middle and high school levels. Since becoming a counselor, she has worked for twenty years, nine of which have been at McCullough and The Woodlands High Schools.


Eileen M. Kennedy
Originally from the midwest, Eileen Kennedy has worked with the students of C.I.S.D. since 1971.  She attended the University of Missouri and holds a B.S. in Elementary and Secondary Education.  She received a Master's degree in Guidance and Counseling from Sam Houston State University.

Allison Chambers taught 7th grade Level and Pre-AP Math at Knox Junior High for six years in Conroe ISD. She was a Junior High Counselor for five years at Knox before moving to TWHS in 2010.

Christy Farris has been a part of the Conroe ISD family for 10 years and is beginning her fifth year as a Counselor in the district. Previously she has worked as a 5th and 3rd grade teacher and opened three different campuses including Vogel Intermediate, Coulson Tough, and Deretchin.
