The students have voted! Once again, thank you to all the Texas artists who submitted work for consideration this year. Our student committee narrowed the initial submissions to 13 artists/artworks. These 13 nominated artworks were then displayed at the school prior to Thanksgiving and the students voted the week of November 10. We are excited to announce that we will be adding the following artists’ work to our collection as a result of the student voting:

This past week, National Honor Society members donated a total of 935 pounds of canned goods and other food items as part of their yearlong service project with Compassion United, a 501(c)(3) non profit based out of Montgomery County.

Congratulations to the Highsteppers for receiving a Division 1 rating and placing 2nd out of 39 6A drill teams at the TDEA Fall Assessment. They were the only CISD school to advance to the finals round and place. We are so proud of these ladies and all their hard work this football season!
