Students in Ms. Levier-Williams' 9th grade biology class are putting the scientific method to work by testing different brands of paper towels to determine which one is the most absorbent! Through hands-on experimentation, they are making predictions, collecting data, and analyzing results just like real scientists.
So far, Bounty has taken the lead, proving why it's known as the "Quicker Picker Upper!"

🎤✨ It’s time for our Eras Tour! Our English 3 students are tuning in to the American literary landscape! From the Colonial chords and the Revolutionary rhythms to vibing with the beats of the modern age, students are exploring the stories that shaped our nation! 📚🇺🇸
After today, all students at the Senior Campus will have had the opportunity to attend a class meeting. Starting tomorrow Wed 8/19, Student ID's, dress code and tardy policies will be enforced.
Class meetings at TWHS 9th are occuring today and tomorrow. Starting Thurs 8/20, Student ID's, dress code and tardy policies will be enforced.
Student ID's are required to be worn at all times from 7:15am through 2:35pm. ID's should be visible on a lanyard or clipped to your shirt. If you do not have your ID visible, you will be sent to GLO to get a temporary. Lanyards are a school supply, we are limited in the number we have to share.
TWHS German 1 students starting off the new school year with an over 200-year-old 1st day of school tradition, the Schultüte. Students learned the history and purpose behind it, then got to make one of their own. Loved all the smiling faces!
We’ve loved welcoming Officer Casares to TWHS-9 campus! She has been spending time with our students, getting to know them, and building positive relationships throughout the campus. We’re so glad to have her as part of our Highlander family!
