This week is National School Counseling Week, and we are shining a well-deserved spotlight on the incredible team at The Woodlands High School.
Our counselors are more than just academic advisors; they are the backbone of our student support system, working tirelessly to foster both personal growth and academic success. Between our 14 dedicated professionals, the TWHS counseling department boasts a staggering 250+ years of combined experience in the field. That is two and a half centuries of wisdom, empathy, and advocacy at your fingertips! We celebrate this week to acknowledge the job of a School Counselor. Navigating the complexities of high school and beyond, providing a safe haven and vital resources for every student, and working behind the scenes to ensure no student walks their path alone are just some of the roles that a school counselor performs.
Please take a moment this week to drop a note, write a TAE, send an email, or simply say "thank you" to these vital members of our Highlander family.
